AB  - The proposed study aims to expose and analyze the main aspects and features of the mediostructure or cross-reference structure and its influence on the existing lexicographic typology. The exposition of the mediostuctural characteristics begins from the realization of this lexicographic device in three dictionaries which have a lexicographic specialization: the Diccionario de lexicografía práctica (dlp) (1995), the second edition of the Dictionary of Lexicography (dol) (2001), and the Wörterbuch zur Lexikographie und Wörterbuchforschung. Dictionary of Lexicography and Dictionary Research (dldr) (2010, 2017).
