The linguists have been dealing with feminization of French language since the 1970s but there has been no detailed comparative analysis of situation in the given countries so far. Although these four countries influence each other in linguistic feminization but the privileged position of feminine nouns in Quebec does not contribute to their higher usage in the European French-speaking countries.
