When the source or the target language is Galician, the translator and the several agents that intervene in carrying out such work and in its final result, need to perform a set of operations that belong to the mediation process. Even though a good number of specialists are interested in the what, when, where and how of things related to translation between major languages, our research is focussed on analysing the transfer process of minority languages and cultures.
