AB  - The emergence of conversational agents capable of creating fictional narratives raises essential questions about the concept of literariness. This study analyses a text generated by the Gemini 1.5 Flash artificial intelligence to determine whether it can be considered literary. The methodology consists of four analytical stages. It begins by examining various definitions of literature, then explores the concept of literariness as developed in the work of Jakobson. Next, it outlines the different modes of text generation before offering a literary analysis of a text produced by Gemini 1.5 Flash. The results show that Gemini's text displays several features traditionally associated with literary works, confirming that literariness can emerge regardless of whether a text has human or artificial origins. However, in the context of artificial intelligence, literariness appears to depend less on generation and more on reception, inviting readers into a process of discovering a literary experience that is both aesthetic and emotional. This shift towards reading invites us to reconsider traditional theoretical categories and opens up new perspectives for literary studies in the digital age.
